Garena take part in Microsoft TechFemme 2016 event

Aug 20, 2016 - Garena Online (Thailand) joined Microsoft Thailand sharing a hand-on experience and helpful career advice in TechFemme 2016 an event to inspire and engage women in technology industry.

Chose as one of successful IT panelists, CEO of Garena Online (Thailand) Nok Maneerut among others has inspired not only young women but also young men who aspire career opportunities to enter technology field as one of their choices and given reinforcement in promoting a diverse technology workforce to address gaps in Thailand's labor market. Moreover, there was a sub-session run by five young Garena talents who shared their career experience and tips on how to work effectively with others in the internet firm. All in all, as a key part of the event we hope that the students learn well to get fruitful knowledge and a deep understanding in a tech business.

With a parallel event in over five ASEAN countries, TechFemme 2016 Thailand was organized to widen perspectives of locals towards women in technology, provide a simple yet practical information in the sector, and encourage female students to develop a passion for technology.
