Garena Online (Thailand) and Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU) collaborated on the "Garena Game Jam," a project aimed at nurturing new game developers in Thailand to bolster the local game development ecosystem and address the industry's talent shortage. The inaugural 2025 event saw 20 teams selected from over 50 applicants participate in a 47-hour game development challenge at DPU, guided by mentors and Garena staff, under the theme "One More Run: ขออีกตา." Team ExzureXR won the 25,000 baht first prize for their game "RPS.Street," as the initiative successfully promoted innovation and creativity vital for the Thai game industry's international competitiveness.
