A charity in honour of King Bhumibol Adulayadej

Feb 2, 2017 - Garena Online (Thailand) turns eSports fans’ commitments and intentions in being good citizens into charitable activities following King Bhumibol Adulayadej’s footsteps.

The activities were organized along with Garena’s eSports events, namely, LoL Thailand Master Cup 2016, HoN booth @Thailand Game Show Big Festival 2016 and EA Champions Cup Winter 2016, and allowed the participants to be part of them by writing down their commitments to do good and share it on displays.

1 commitment is equivalent to a donation of 70 baht. 3,440 intentions were counted and a total donation of 240,800 baht will be made to Chaipattana Foundation to honour our king’s goodness and integrity.

Chaipattana Foundation is a non-profit organization which is not only focusing on conventional local development to improve Thais’ quality of life but also carrying our King Rama 9’s passion for environmental science.
