The Free Fire Craftland Design Contest came to an exciting close in late August, shining a spotlight on the creativity and passion of over 50 young map creators across Thailand. Centered around the theme "The Wonders of the 4 Regions: Thai Ways of Life Never End," the competition invited participants to reimagine Thailand’s rich cultural heritage using Free Fire’s in-game Craftland editor.
Organized in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and the Department of Cultural Promotion, the contest offered a platform for Thai youth to celebrate and preserve local traditions through the lens of interactive game design. From vibrant floating markets and sprawling rice fields to the sounds of Mor Lam folk music and action-packed Muay Thai arenas, the submitted maps reflected a deep appreciation for Thailand’s cultural diversity.
The top 3 winning maps are now featured as permanent Craftland modes in Free Fire, allowing players across Thailand to explore and enjoy these imaginative cultural tributes within the game.
