To strengthen and sustainably grow Thailand’s esports ecosystem, Garena Thailand, in partnership with the Thailand Esports Federation (TESF) and the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), launched a brand-new tournament, the RoV Thailand Esports Premier League (TEPL) 2025. The initiative is designed to nurture semi-professional athletes and guide them on the path toward professional esports.
The RoV Thailand Esports Premier League 2025 commenced in August, featuring fierce competition among eight teams. Four teams earned their spots as champions from the RoV Valor City 2025 amateur-level regional tournaments held nationwide, while the other four qualified through the Wildcard Stage, open exclusively to registered SAT PRO CLUB teams under the Thailand Esports Federation and the Sports Authority of Thailand.
The champion of TEPL 2025 secures the right to compete in the RoV Pro League 2026 as a professional esports club (subject to organizer conditions). This marks a pivotal milestone for the RoV esports ecosystem, providing a structured pathway for amateur athletes to develop and step up to the professional stage.
The TEPL 2025 Championship concluded spectacularly on September 13 – 14 at Westgate Hall, Central Westgate, drawing more than 3,000 passionate fans onsite. The event was attended by key figures, including Mr. Nuntapol Thongnilphan, Director of the Office of Professional Sports Promotion, Sports Authority of Thailand; Mr. Santi Lothong, President of Thailand Esports Federation and the Asian Electronic Sports Federation; and Ms. Pawitporn Jianprasert, Senior Manager, Garena Online (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
Across two days of live competition, TEPL 2025 welcomed over 3,000 audiences, while also attracting over 400,000 online views.
The final four teams were Chiang Mai Esports, Godji Check, Full Size, and To Be Number One × Emojilists, competing for a total prize pool of 1,000,000 THB and a coveted slot in the RoV Pro League 2026 Summer and Winter seasons.
In the grand finals, Godji Check delivered a fiery performance, edging out Chiang Mai Esports in a nail-biting best-of-seven (BO7) series with a 4–3 scoreline. The victory crowned Godji Check as TEPL 2025 Champions, earning them 500,000 THB in prize money and the right to compete in the entire RoV Pro League 2026 seasons.
The RoV Thailand Esports Premier League 2025 not only spotlighted rising clubs like Godji Check but also opened the gateway for semi-professional athletes to reach the professional stage. Fans can continue to follow Godji Check’s journey as they step into the RoV Pro League 2026 Summer and Winter seasons, and stay updated with the latest RoV news via Garena RoV Thailand and Garena RoV Tournament channels.
