Sea (Thailand) has partnered with the Department of Learning Encouragement (DOLE) to launch the first activity under the "Play to Learn" initiative training 100 librarians across all 77 provinces and distributing 100 sets of the Wishlist: Allocate Money, Fulfill Your Dreams board game to community libraries nationwide.
The training equipped librarians with tools and facilitation skills to revitalize community libraries into accessible financial literacy hubs for all ages. Participants first completed the “Money for Teen” online course by The Money Coach Thailand before joining a hands-on board game workshop using active learning techniques.
Early results showed 85.8% of participants improved their financial knowledge, while 85% were ready to launch community activities within 1-3 months.
“Play to Learn” is the first milestone under the MOU between Sea (Thailand) and DOLE signed in early 2026, with “Learn to Sell by Shopee” project set to follow to build e-commerce skills for communities nationwide.
