Thailand is set to mark a historic milestone in space exploration with the launch of “CE-7 MATCH”, the first Thai-designed and developed scientific instrument selected for a lunar mission aboard Chang'e 7, scheduled to lift off on August 24, 2026.
To bring this national achievement closer to the public, Sea (Thailand) has partnered with the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT) to expand STEM learning through its digital platforms. On this occasion, Sea (Thailand) will broadcast live launch coverage and mission details on Shopee, while introducing an interactive "NARIT Mission to the Moon" map in Garena Free Fire's Craftland mode for real-time countdowns.
Dr. Sarut Vanichpun, Senior Director at Sea (Thailand), emphasized that by integrating space technology into engaging everyday digital experiences, the company aims to inspire the next generation of Thai youth to pursue future careers as scientists, engineers, and tech innovators.
