Sea (Thailand) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Prince of Songkla University (PSU) to launch the "Shopee University Campus Partnership" project. The initiative bridges classroom learning with practical business experience to equip students and local Southern Thai entrepreneurs with key digital skills, ranging from online store management and digital marketing to monetizing through the Shopee Affiliate program. Beyond university students, the partnership will also extend to local businesses through short-term non-degree e-commerce courses to boost regional economic growth.
Prince of Songkla University is the first institution in Southern Thailand to join the initiative, becoming the seventh top university partner alongside institutions like Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, and Mahidol University. Between 2024 and 2026, the campus program has trained over 1,000 students and generated more than 5.4 million Baht in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) on the platform, reinforcing Sea (Thailand)'s commitment to preparing young talent for the digital economy.
