March 15, 2018 - Garena held the Press Conference for ‘Garena World 2018: eSports for all’ at W Hotel, Bangkok. At the event Mr. Allen Hsu, Country Head – Strategic Partnership, has represented Garena and shared our aspiration and support toward gaming and eSports industry as well as the highlights of the upcoming Garena World event. We decided to change the name from Garena Star League to “Garena World” in order to reflect not only the greater progress of Thailand as the hub of eSports in Southeast Asia but also our great determination to support eSports development and to create the World of eSports for everyone who love gaming and eSports to enjoy. Garena World 2018 will be held at BITEC Bangna on March 30 – April 1, 2018. This year event is not only special because of its larger scale but also the full support received from the Tourism Authority of Thailand as our main sponsor.
